Although some moments of the first season were cringe-worthy. This second season is about as masterfully done as anyone could hope for.
This is like a review of all the thoughts that ever occurred to me at the resort, many of which I have long since forgotten
He starts a little slow in the first episode, but soon finds his feet and impresses again and again, drawing me in as if I’m not very experienced. It’s a treat for that alone, but don’t worry, it goes far beyond that to flirt with operatic heights of drama and beauty, which is quite appropriate given its setting in Sicily.
The guy seems to know no boundaries combined with one of the most stellar eyes for detail I’ve ever seen
Considering the excellence of the acting and the apparent lightness of the story, I would say that Mike White, the creator of this series, is some kind of unsung genius.
