When visionary architect László Toth and his wife Erzsébete flee post-war Europe in 1947 to rebuild their legacy and witness the birth of modern America, their lives are forever changed by a mysterious and wealthy client. Filming took place over a total of 34 days. from March 16 to May 5, 2023. It was shot in Budapest, Hungary and Carrara, Italy. Close-Up: Why Do We Need a Venice Film Festival? (2024). Rating – 9.1: Overall, a great epic that pays homage to a time period and changes the way we can tell stories as it shows what can be done on such a low budget, combined with great filmmaking, deep writing and an incredible performance by Adrian.
