Sympathetic and relatively deep characters, believable plot, tolerable pace are the driving forces of this show. Stallone is good as the protagonist but I like Andrea Savage and her character a lot, very nice performance.
fun but not really adding value and they don’t stand out
I really respected that Stallone doesn’t try to look younger when his character Dwight is honest about his age and how it might affect his relationships with a younger woman. The cinematography and music are nothing to write home about, both are good enough to keep the show going.
My review makes the show look pretty average, but I’m giving it an 8/10 because it’s a solid entertainer, not a TV/cinema masterpiece or tour de force
