An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love and find out if their relationship survives their very different lives and meddling families. Originally titled “Shiksa” which is also the last word spoken in the first episode. I love it! I devoured the entire series in one day and I think it’s almost perfect. It’s like watching a good rom-com movie but stretched out into a 10 episode TV series which makes it even more satisfying. Kristen Bell and Adam Brody have the most incredible chemistry together. They’re charming and their connection seems genuine, their banter realistic. It’s rare to see such a believable couple together from the moment they appear on screen together. The way he looks at her gave me butterflies in my stomach and I’m a 45 year old who rarely feels that way when watching something. I can’t recommend this show enough!
